A building shaped like a face watches over the street, round windows for eyes and an oval door for a mouth.

Designed by architect Kazumasa Yamashita, this building's face-shaped facade was a deliberate piece of architectural humour — a private house built to be instantly recognisable from the street rather than blend in.
